10 Easy Weight Loss Tips That Are Actually Evidence-Based

FAT WELCOMES VARIETIES OF DISEASES.
STAY AWAY FROM FAT.

1. Drink Water, Especially Before Meals

  • Drinking water can boost metabolism by 24-30% over a period of 1-1.5 hours, helping you burn off a few more calories .
  • One study showed that drinking a half liter (17 oz) of water about a half an hour before meals helped dieters eat fewer calories and lose 44% more weight.

2. Eat Eggs For Breakfast.

3. Drink Coffee (Preferably Black).

  • Coffee has been unfairly demonized. Quality coffee is loaded with antioxidants, and can have numerous health benefits.
  • Studies show that the caffeine in coffee can boost metabolism by 3-11%, and increase fat burning by up to 10-29%.

4. Drink Green Tea.

  • Green tea contains small amounts of caffeine, but it is also loaded with powerful antioxidants called catechins, which are also believed to work synergistically with the caffeine to enhance fat burning.

5. Cook With Coconut Oil.

  • Coconut oil is very healthy. It is high in special fats called medium chain triglycerides, which are metabolized differently than other fats.
  • These fats have been shown to boost metabolism by 120 calories per day, and also reduce your appetite so that you eat up to 256 fewer calories per day.

6. Take a Glucomannan Supplement.

  •  A fiber called Glucomannan has been shown to cause weight loss.
  • This is a type of fiber that absorbs water and “sits” in your gut for a while, making you feel more full and helping you eat fewer calories.

7. Eat Spicy Foods

Spicy foods like Cayenne pepper contain Capsaicin, a compound that can boost metabolism and reduce your appetite slightly

8. Do Aerobic Exercise

  • Doing aerobic exercise (cardio) is an excellent way to burn calories and improve your physical and mental health.
  • It appears to be particularly effective to lose belly fat, the unhealthy fat that tends to build up around your organs and cause metabolic disease.

9. Get Good Sleep

  • Sleep is highly underrated, but it may be just as important as eating healthy and exercising.
  • Studies show that poor sleep is one of the strongest risk factors for obesity, being linked to an 89% increased risk of obesity in children, and 55% in adults.

10. Don’t Drink Calories, Including Sugary Soda and Fruit Juices.

  • Sugar is bad, but sugar in liquid form is even worse. Studies show that liquid sugar calories may be the single most fattening aspect of the modern diet.
  • For e.g., one study showed that sugar-sweetened beverages are linked to a 60% increased risk of obesity in children, for each daily serving.
  • Keep in mind that this applies to fruit juice as well, which contains a similar amount of sugar as a soft drink like coke . Eat whole fruit, but use fruit juice with caution (or avoid it altogether).

OVERVIEW

Jaundice occurs when excess bilirubin builds up in the liver, causing the skin and whites of the eyes to develop a yellowish tint. Bilirubin is produced when hemoglobin from red blood cells is broken down by the body.

JAUNDICE CAUSES

Jaundice may be caused by several different disease processes. It is helpful to understand the different causes of jaundice by identifying the problems that disrupt the normal bilirubin metabolism and/or excretion.

Medical Treatment

Treatment varies based on the medical condition responsible for causing jaundice, and the associated symptoms and complications. Treatments may include the following:
  • supportive care,
  • IV fluids in cases of dehydration,
  • medications for nausea/vomiting and pain,
  • antibiotics,

Skin care: 5 tips for healthy skin

It's your skin make it shine everyday !

                          1. Protect yourself from the sun

One of the most important ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun. A lifetime of sun exposure can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin problems — as well as increase the risk of skin cancer.
For the most complete sun protection:
                          • Use sunscreen. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15. Apply sunscreen generously, and reapply every two hours — or more often if you're swimming or perspiring.
                          • Seek shade. Avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun's rays are strongest.
                          • Wear protective clothing. Cover your skin with tightly woven long-sleeved shirts, long pants and wide-brimmed hats. Also consider laundry additives, which give clothing an additional layer of ultraviolet protection for a certain number of washings, or special sun-protective clothing — which is specifically designed to block ultraviolet rays.

                          2. Don't smoke

Smoking makes your skin look older and contributes to wrinkles. Smoking narrows the tiny blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin, which decreases blood flow. This depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients that are important to skin health.
Smoking also damages collagen and elastin — the fibers that give your skin strength and elasticity. In addition, the repetitive facial expressions you make when smoking — such as pursing your lips when inhaling and squinting your eyes to keep out smoke — can contribute to wrinkles.
If you smoke, the best way to protect your skin is to quit. Ask your doctor for tips or treatments to help you stop smoking.

                          3. Treat your skin gently

Daily cleansing and shaving can take a toll on your skin. To keep it gentle:
                          • Limit bath time. Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin. Limit your bath or shower time, and use warm — rather than hot — water.
                          • Avoid strong soaps. Strong soaps and detergents can strip oil from your skin. Instead, choose mild cleansers.
                          • Shave carefully. To protect and lubricate your skin, apply shaving cream, lotion or gel before shaving. For the closest shave, use a clean, sharp razor. Shave in the direction the hair grows, not against it.
                          • Pat dry. After washing or bathing, gently pat or blot your skin dry with a towel so that some moisture remains on your skin.
                          • Moisturize dry skin. If your skin is dry, use a moisturizer that fits your skin type. For daily use, consider a moisturizer that contains SPF.

                          4. Eat a healthy diet

A healthy diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. The association between diet and acne isn't clear — but some research suggests that a diet rich in vitamin C and low in unhealthy fats and processed or refined carbohydrates might promote younger looking skin.

                          5. Manage stress

Uncontrolled stress can make your skin more sensitive and trigger acne breakouts and other skin problems. To encourage healthy skin — and a healthy state of mind — take steps to manage your stress. Set reasonable limits, scale back your to-do list and make time to do the things you enjoy. The results might be more dramatic than you expect.
